NTT Pro Cycling’s riders and staff, together with colleagues from the NTT Continental team, are joining forces with our partners in a “unique event” to commemorate the 2020 Tour de France. Our continental team rode superbly to set-up the win for Leonardo Marchiori at Firenze-Empoli today. There were no big attacks or breakaways on the 142,5km race, except for two riders who made it away in the beginning. In the end, it came down to a massive bunch sprint, with around 80 riders fighting for the win. It has been a strong start to 2019 for the Dimension Data for Qhubeka Continental Team with recent highlights being back-to-back wins at Giro del Belvedere and G.P. Palio del Recioto in recent weeks.  In a dominant performance, Samuele Battistella first took the overall honours at Belvedere with teammate Matteo Sobrero claiming 3rd place.
